Sandwater is excited to announce our latest investment in Soil Capital's EUR 15m Series B, led by Trill Impact Ventures.
Soil Capital is leveraging their deep knowledge of regenerative agriculture in building out a platform that simultaneously supports farmers' transition to regenerative agricultural practices and enables corporates to finance emissions reductions and resilience in their own supply chains. The company currently works with more than 1,600 farmers in the UK, France and Belgium and some of the largest multinational food companies.
Proceeds from the round will support Soil Capital’s product development - incorporating regenerative agricultural benefits beyond carbon sequestration such as soil health, water quality, biodiversity and socio-economic factors - as well as for international expansion in Europe and beyond.
We’re deeply impressed by Soil Capital’s commitment to, and demonstrated success in, making regenerative agriculture the economically attractive choice for farmers. We're looking forward to the scaling journey ahead, together with the company and our co-investors at Trill, Ring Capital, SFPIM and Santander Alternative Investments.
